Here at Gleanings From The Harvest, we hear and understand the struggle that many parents experience in providing food for their families. For that reason, we are determined to assist those in need to the best of our abilities.

Currently, we are offering a variety of programs to help meet this great need felt by so many.

Programs:

Mobile Food Pantry serves our needy at various locations. Currently, we are serving over 142,209 individuals throughout Galveston County. Please call or visit our offices to sign up and get more information for the Mobile Food Pantry distribution locations.

Client Choice Food Mart gives those with the ability to make it to the Texas City facility a chance to "shop" for free as if they were at a normal grocery store. We currently service over 36,530 individuals with our onsite food mart. Please call or visit our offices to sign up.

Senior Food Boxes serve the Galveston County elderly who cannot always leave their homes to gain sufficient nutritious food. We currently serve over 1,354 senior households throughout the Galveston County. If you are a senior and need help, please call our offices to receive help.

Angel Food Boxes help bring food products to those who need a more affordable option. We currently provide Angel Food boxes to 154 households. For more information on Angel Food Boxes program, call or visit our offices.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren gives you the opportunity to receive a food box four times a year (every quarter) at no cost. Currently, through donations we are only able to distribute 50 boxes monthly throughout the county. To participate in the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Program (GRGP), please complete our application and return it to our Texas City facility.
